Search for subsidies and support

When a child is sick and cannot be cared for at home for reasons such as a parent or guardian's work schedule, the child can stay in a sick child daycare room at a clinic.

Eligibility criteria for those who can use this service

Children from age 0 to the 6th grade of elementary school (Fukuoka City residents).

Procedure

1.  In order to use the room, you must make an advance reservation by phone.
   (Please be sure to contact us if you need to cancel your reservation.)
2.  If your child is currently seeing a doctor at another clinic, please obtain a request form or medical certificate for use of the sick child daycare room from your family doctor and bring it with you.
3.  Registering your child in advance for use of the sick child daycare room will simplify the procedure when your child needs to use the room for the first time.
4. Depending on the severity of your child's symptoms or the availability of the facility, we may decline your request.

Hours of Use

Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Saturdays, from 8:30 am to 1 pm
*Closed on Sundays, public holidays or when the doctor's office is closed

User Fees 

2,000 yen (per person per day)
However, income-tax-exempt households pay 1,000 yen, and this service is free for households on public assistance, or those that are exempt from municipal resident taxes
