This program subsidizes the cost incurred by a single parent when he or she enters into a child support guarantee contract with a guarantor company.

Eligibility Criteria

Single parents living in Fukuoka City who have signed a child support guarantee contract with a guarantor company and meet all of the following requirements:

• The applicant must be receiving a child support allowance or be at an equivalent income level.
• The applicant must have a title of obligation for the arrangement of child support.
• The applicant must be currently supporting a dependent (under 20 years of age) eligible for the child support arrangement.
• The applicant must sign a child support guarantee contract with a guarantee company for at least one year.
• The applicant must not have received a prior child support guarantee subsidy for a dependent eligible for a child support arrangement.

Eligible Expenses

Expenses incurred as guarantor fees when entering into a child support guarantee contract

Subsidy Amount

The smaller amount between the guarantor fees or 50,000 yen (up to 50,000 yen) *Limited to one time per person

Please apply with all necessary documents, within 6 months from the day after signing the child support contract, to the Fukuoka City Single Parent Family Support Center. 
*Applications cannot be accepted at your ward office.
