Loan Program to Promote Advanced Vocational Training

To help them prepare for matriculation or employment, this reserve fund lends money to single parents enrolled in a training institute who aim to acquire qualifications that will enhance their chances of finding a job.

Eligibility Criteria

Fukuoka City recipients of the Advanced Vocational Training Promotion Subsidy
Please be aware that recipients of Hello Work's Specialized Practical Education and Training Benefits are NOT eligible for this loan. (In some cases, this loan cannot be combined with other loans or benefits, such as the Specialized Practical Education and Training Subsidy, so please consult with us on an individual basis.)

Loan Amounts

Up to 500,000 yen for matriculation preparation and up to 200,000 yen to prepare for employment.
(The employment reserve fund is for those who have found work within one year of graduation from the training institute, by utilizing their qualifications)

Interest Rate

No interest is charged if a joint guarantor signs (you will be charged 1% per year if no joint guarantor is available)

Exemption

Loan repayment is fully exempted for those who utilize their qualifications to find employment within one year of graduating from a training institute, and work in Fukuoka Prefecture for five years.

Application Procedure

Those who wish to apply for a loan should first contact the Fukuoka City Council of Social Welfare for consultation. Loan eligibility will be determined after a screening process. Eligible borrowers will receive all the necessary documents for application.
