About the Single-Parent Family Support Center

The Fukuoka City Single Parent Family Support Center is a welfare facility offering a variety of counseling for single parent families and widows. We also provide employment support seminars to help single parent families become independent.

Employment Consultation

While taking into account each family's situation and work experience, employment counselors offer appropriate advice on matters such as job aptitude and developing motivation for employment.
We also give specific advice on revising resumes and CVs, as well as conducting mock job interviews.

Counseling is free of charge.

Tuesday、Wednesday:from 9:15 am to 6 pm

Thursdays through Saturdays:from 0 pm to 8:45 pm

Sundays and Holidays:from 9:15 am to 5 pm

Legal Consultation

For counseling on legal issues such as child support arrangements, custody, and financial problems, female attorneys are available.

Counseling is free of charge.

Every Saturday, from 2 to 4 pm (prior appointment required)

Lifestyle Consultation

Lifestyle counselors offer advice and information on issues in daily living, such as divorce, child rearing, life planning, and finances.

Counseling is free of charge.

Sundays and Holidays: from 9 am to 5:30 pm

Mental Health Counseling

For those who are experiencing mental health issues, a female psychosomatic medicine/psychiatry physician is available.

Counseling is free of charge.

Hours

The 2nd Saturday of the month, from 1:30 to 3:30 pm (one 50-minute session; prior appointment required)
